El Capitan and Half Dome in Yosemite

I spent a couple of weeks in Northern California in November and this is the first of a series of posts with a few pics of my travels. Bit of a whistle-stop tour but a visit to Yosemite National Park was a must. I arrived at the end of the day and caught a classic Valley View with El Capitan and Half Dome beautifully lit. Next day I was never far away from their glacier carved rock faces that dominate the valley. Later that evening the mist and clouds rolled in and the temperature dropped to below freezing.
